The process has four steps: remove 3 inches of the existing lawn, add a layer of fresh topsoil graded and sloped to the owner's liking, lay new Kentucky Blue Grass sod, and finish with a roller. Before laying, the crew clears old grass and weeds, amends the soil if necessary and levels the ground so it drains properly, and it recalibrates any sprinkler system so new sod gets enough water. Interlocking, flagstone and river stone, patio installation, grass cutting, flower beds and planting, mulch, fertilizing and tree removal round out the work on residential projects.
